I have photographed students of all ages in diverse educational settings including NYC public schools, community centers, extended day and adult learning programming and summer camps.
Many clients request portraits of community members, clients, staff or visitors for use on their websites, pubic filings such as Annual Reports or fundraising materials.
Many of my clients provide educational options for learners of all ages. I have photographed in classrooms, houses of worship, community gardens and many other unique spaces. Because lighting in classrooms can be very tricky, a professional photographer is the best choice to get good shots without disrupting the flow of the class.
One of my favorite reasons to live in New York City is to see and document the variety of marches/parades/protests that course through our streets on an almost weekly basis. Some of this work is done for clients who want images for their own use and some is my personal work.
Many organizations want to photograph panel speakers or discussions but realize it is more difficult to accomplish than they expected due to poor lighting and static participants. It takes a professional photographer to capture movement/expression and engagement during these types of programs.
